I'm not building for 2026. I'm building for 2036. The ten-year-old in my class today is twenty by then, walking into a world none of us can picture yet. Most curriculums haven't changed in decades. Mine changes every month. I make taxes something a ten-year-old understands, and enjoys, through games you play around a table. So in 2036, she's ready.

No estoy construyendo para 2026. Estoy construyendo para 2036. El niño de diez años que está hoy en mi clase tendrá veinte entonces, entrando en un mundo que ninguno de nosotros puede imaginar. La mayoría de los currículos no han cambiado en décadas. El mío cambia cada mes. Why does that matter? "Taxes" is not a word a twelve-year-old is meant to enjoy. Samir does, because the adult world finally makes sense to him.

But really, why? Because a child who understands the real world stops bracing for it, and starts building toward it.

Why does that matter? She didn't lack the idea. She lacked the belief it could be real.

But really, why? Because once a young person trusts her own thinking, everything she builds after stands on it.
